John is a principal with SSCA. Prior to his interest in working with business leaders in a consulting capacity, John spent 30 years as an owner and senior executive in the highly competitive textile industry.
He provided strategic leadership in two of the most globally recognized brand leaders, significantly improving business results. Specifically, his ownership and oversight for RJR Fabrics led to a tripling of revenues over a 13-year period.
He has deep, hands-on knowledge of the challenges and opportunities involved in growing a successful global business, having operated in the capacities of strategic planning, operations, manufacturing, finance, product development, sales, and marketing. Vast global customer experiences have polished his greatest strength, developing and managing business relationships, and led him to his current interest in leadership development with an emphasis on improving business results.
His extensive background in working with business leaders across many continents has led John to have a keen intuitive approach, perhaps unique, in helping leaders connect and communicate better with their management teams and business relationships. Combining these skills with the science and advanced training models of organizational behavior designed by SSCA has created a very dynamic and effective approach of coaching, training and leadership development.
