Thomas M. ShenkDaniel Collett is a partner with Spencer/Shenk/Capers & Associates. A gifted presenter and consultant, he is recognized for his expertise in the development of skills and competencies which foster optimal performance in both individuals and organizations. His professional focus includes the design and delivery of learning systems and processes which align the development of human resource potential with business strategies and objectives.

Daniel is acclaimed for his extensive experience in a full range of organizational disciplines including leadership development, performance management, business planning, strategic selling, negotiation skills, executive presentation skills, customer service, team building, conflict resolution, merger integration, and change processes. Dan’s speaking engagements have included national and international sales conferences, executive team strategy sessions, distribution channel roundtables, legislatures, professional associations and new product/program launches.

As a consultant, Daniel has designed and implemented extensive executive development curriculums including accelerated learning programs for high potential leaders, management development programs and team integration initiatives for widely dispersed organizations.

The magic is in looking to really understand these human beings that we call CEOs or presidents or general managers and seeing them as whole human beings spiritually, physically, mentally.

Prior to joining Spencer/Shenk/Capers & Associates, Daniel headed the employee and organization development initiative for a Novell Inc. Fortune 500 company with 47 offices internationally. There he led a global development initiative for a world wide sales force of over 1,500. He facilitated large scale merger integration planning and activities and represented the adoption of an international mind set within the US Corporation. He extensively coached leaders of all non-US based senior country and area leaders on corporate integration and influence with in the US marketplace.

Daniel received degrees in business management/organizational communications and public relations from Brigham Young University. He is a member of The American Society of Training and Development (ASTD) and The International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI).

Daniel is an avid snow and water skier, semi-professional actor and an award winning commercial designer. He lives with his wife and three great children in the foothills of Salt Lake City, Utah.
