Create a highly motivated, performance-driven workforce.
Overview
The climate of your organization affects each individual who works within it and, therefore, the organization’s performance as a whole.
SSCA’s Organization Climate Assessment (OCA) assesses six key dimensions of a work environment. These six dimensions can either arouse motivation and sustain productivity — or derail both.
Through a two-part survey, our assessment asks responders to consider their current perception of the work environment and how their ideal environment might differ from that. When all responses are aggregated, we have a strong reflection of how the leader’s behaviors and practices are impacting the organization’s climate.
The OCA begins a dialogue that will empower both the leader and direct reports to influence the climate in a positive direction. After all, it is not only the leader whose behaviors and practices affect the work environment. Employees also share responsibility for creating a healthy and motivating place to work.
Thus, this assessment and it’s corresponding report is designed to facilitate mutual accountability for behaviors, practices, processes, and activities. The goal is that both the leader and the direct reports acquire the language and customs of an achievement-arousing (and productivity-sustaining) climate.
How to apply the Climate Assessment
You’ll provide below the names and email addresses of the persons who will participate in the OCA. To protect confidentiality, we require at least three (3) people. Each of these persons will receive a unique log-in to access and complete the assessment. Part I consists of fifty questions about their perception of what it’s like to work under their leader. In Part II, they respond to the same fifty questions regarding their preference for an ideal work environment.
Please note that SSCA takes the confidentiality of responses seriously; we never share individual responses. Rather, we generate a composite of all responses in order to protect the anonymity of the individuals who have responded. The OCA is a safe and reliable outlet for candid thoughts and frank opinions.
